KC Healthy Kids is a public charitable foundation dedicated to reducing obesity and improving the health of Greater Kansas City’s children by informing, advocating, and mobilizing the resources and talents of our community.  We promote collaborative, positive changes in policies, norms, practices, and social supports that lead to increased healthy eating and active living opportunities in Greater Kansas City.  Pursuant to our mission to reduce childhood obesity, we have led a number of initiatives designed to improve the food and built environments at the community and regional level.
