Policy change is what KC Healthy Kids is all about. We all know we should eat better, but if people don't have access to healthy, affordable food, even the best of intentions will remain unrealized. And if we live in a neighborhood without sidewalks or streets that are safe for bicyclists, chances are we aren't going to get the exercise we know we need.
Healthy eating and active living can be tough life choices, but they shouldn't have to be. That's why KC Healthy Kids is committed to creating communities where making the healthy choice is the easy choice for you and your family.
But we can't do it without your help. Policy change takes grassroots community support. Get involved!
