Gretchen H. Kunkel
President

Gretchen has guided KC Healthy Kids as the organization's president since 2008 in its efforts to advance community solutions to reduce childhood obesity in Greater Kansas City. 

     

 

Beth Low-Smith
Vice President, Policy

Beth leads efforts to shape policies in government, schools and businesses so that everyone has opportunities to make healthy choices wherever they are. Beth also serves as director of the Greater Kansas City Food Policy Coalition.


   

 

Rachael McGinnis Millsap
Director, Farm to School Academy 

As director of the Farm to School Academy, Rachael works with local growers, distributors and schools districts to make fresh, locally grown foods more available to students. Learn more about Rachael.


   

 

Janet McGraw
Vice President, Administration

As vice president of administration, Janet is responsible for serving as the organization's human resource director, while handling financial and operations areas.


   

 

Lucinda Noches Talbert
Vice President, Programs

Lucinda is responsible for designing, executing and overseeing the organization's programmatic strategies that advance health and improve Greater Kansas City's food and built environments. 
     

 

Leslie Queen
Assistant, Policy

 

As policy assistant, Leslie provides invaluable support to the policy team and helps advance policies that encourage healthy eating, active living and a robust regional food system.

 

     
   

David P. Ross
Consultant, Business & Fund Development

David has been with KC Healthy Kids since the very beginning. His main responsibility is raising funds to support KC Healthy Kids' efforts to reduce childhood obesity.
