Empower youth to speak out for healthy communities. Champions for Health teaches students how their surroundings impact their health and how to create change through advocacy.

New for the 2020-2021 school year! We have four ways teachers, students and families can engage with Champions for Health in any learning environment.

  1. Champions for Health Online. Students become Champions for Health by completing the three completely web-based activities. Students can even share their work with teachers.
  2. Independent Study Guide. The independent study version of Champions for Health is designed to be self-guided for upper elementary and middle school students learning from home.
  3. Champions for Health Challenge. What would your students do with $1,000? The Champions for Health Challenge gives students the power to make big changes at their school that support health. Classrooms submit health and wellness project proposals designed for kids by kids.
  4. Champions for Health Facebook Group. Join our Facebook group to remotely hang out live with other youth advocates, elected officials, artists, former youth summit presenters and other people from your communities! We will also post fun ways Champions can continue to be leaders while at home.
