It all started in 2010. Born out of a desire to create a healthy soda alternative for me and my children, I began brewing kombucha in my kitchen. As I shared my kombucha and the changes in my health, ( including getting off all my medications) with friends and family, word of mouth began to spread about the amazing healing powers of my kombucha. With order requests increasing each week, I began to run out of counter space at home and Saturday afternoon customer pickups often led to lines out her front door. To keep up with demand, I began to sell at the farmers markets where I was approached by a local retailer looking to place my kombucha on their store shelves. In 2015, with orders in hand, I went into the bottling business, opening a small manufacturing facility and taproom. As distribution increased beyond the local Kansas City market, I soon outgrew my operation and in 2018, moved into a much larger, brand new manufacturing facility and taproom where we continue to grow today. Currently, Tea-Biotics Kombucha is sold in over 700 retail locations in 17 states and home to the World’s Largest Kombucha Taproom with 48 flavors on tap! Comments are closed.
