Job Posting: Program Assistant
KC Healthy Kids, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, seeks a Program Assistant. The Program Assistant will report to the psychologist/trainer. This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to team members through the planning and implementation of the Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) program.
Responsibilities:

• Administrative support services including maintaining program records and tracking systems
• Provides support to Psychologist/Trainer in the areas of event scheduling, materials preparation, coordination of activities, and collection of data through interviews, surveys and other methods
• Ensures data quality through review of instruments for completeness
• Enter data into an electronic database (Excel, etc.)
• Grants and restricted funds tracking (e.g., stipends, gift cards, etc.)
• Maintain training calendar, engage partners and troubleshoot scheduling
• Maintains confidentiality of participant information and obtains participant consent to participate in programming
• Coordinates activities with Director of Grants & Quality including grant tracking, management and reporting
• Interfaces in a courteous manner with participants, partners, funders, staff, and contractors
• Provides clear and concise communication with participants, partners, funders, staff and contractors

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required. 
• Proficient knowledge of standard administrative practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Power Point, Excel) and Google Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 1+ year Nonprofit experience (preferred) 
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)

Job type: This is a part-time temporary (25-32 hours a week; May 2022 to December 2023), benefits-eligible, remote-work position. Number of openings: 1
Salary range: $14-$16 an hour
Schedule: Flexible; core work hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; M-F

ACTIVE COMMUNITIES: Kids need to grow up in communities where physical activity can be a natural part of their day. We rally advocates to support policies and plans that make it easier and safer to walk, bike and play throughout our region.
