Urban Farm Zoning and Planning Task Force

The Greater KC Food Policy Coalition established the task force in April 2020 to examine how zoning, land use and planning impact urban farmers in Greater Kansas City. The task force is currently conducting research and engaging stakeholders. In June 2021 the task force will release a report with research findings and policy recommendations for local cities to ensure urban farmers may operate successfully.
