Champions for Health
Empower youth to speak out for healthy communities. Champions for Health teaches students how their surroundings impact their health and how to create change through advocacy.
Champions for Health provides simple standard aligned lesson plans and student materials. In these interactive lessons, upper elementary and middle school students serve as leaders to advocate for healthy eating and active living in their school or community.
Students explore three progressive stages:
All activities are aligned with both Missouri and Kansas learning standards as well as the National Health learning standards and Presidential Youth Fitness standards.
Learning Resources
We have three versions of the Champions for Health program available for online learning, independent study and in person classroom instruction.
Champions for Health Challenge
